of Ban Kern. Visit Nam Ngum lake (100km north of
Vientiane) and take a boat tour on the lake for about 1
hour. After a picnic lunch return to Vientiane on road

center market (Talad Sao) or visit revolutionary museum.
Then transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for

road No. 13 south of Vientiane to Nam Phao/Cau Treo (the
Lao/Vietnamese border). Along the way visit Prabath
stupa. After a picnic lunch continue to Lak Xao stopping
to visit limestone cliffs along the way. Arrive Nam Phao
border late afternoon. Cross to Cau Treo, the Vietnam
border. |

Nights) |
| Day 01: |
Arrival in
Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge. Transfer to
hotel. City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo,
Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha
Park. |
| Day 02: |
By car on
road No. 13 south of Vientiane to Savannakhet (500km).
Along the way visit Prabath stupa, Sikhottabong stupa at Tha
Khaek, That-Ing-Hang stupa and the Dinosaur museum in
Savannakhet. |
| Day 03: |
Visit the
center market. After which, travel by car to an Savan /
Lao Bao (the Lao/Vietnamese border). Arrive at the
border later afternoon and cross into
Vietnam. |
