Tours 4 days to 7 days departing from Vientiane.

 

Vientiane/Vang Vieng/Nam Ngum Lake (4 Days/3 Nights)
Day 01: Arrival in Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge.  Transfer to hotel.  City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo, Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha Park.
Day 02: By car on road No. 10, visit Vientiane zoo and the salt making village of Ban Kern.  Visit Nam Ngum lake (100km north of Vientiane) and take a boat tour on the lake for about 1 hour.  After a picnic lunch continue on road No. 13 to Vang Vieng (150 km north of Vientiane) with its magnificent limestone peaks, through magnificent scenery to Nam Xong River.   Overnight at Vang Vieng.
Day 03: Visit the market, Tham Chang cave and Pha Tang cliff and then return back to Vientiane on road No. 13.
Day 04: Shopping center market (Talad Sao) or visit revolutionary museum.  Then transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.

 

Vientiane / Luang Prabang (4 Days / 3 Nights)
Day 01: Arrival in Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge.  Transfer to hotel.  City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo, Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha Park.
Day 02: Fly to Luang Prabang (The World Heritage City).  City tour including Wat Visunnarad, Wat Mai, Wat Sen, Wat Xieng Thong and sun set at Wat Prabat-Tai.
Day 03: Visit the national museum (the former King's palace); Banh Sang Khong village, where you can see traditional hand-made paper crafts; and Banh Phanom village, a hand-weaving and textile village.  Fly back to Vientiane.  Free time at leisure.
Day 04: Shopping center market (Talad Sao) or visit revolutionary museum.  Then transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.

 

Vientiane / Luang Prabang (5 Days / 4 Nights)
Day 01: Arrival in Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge.  Transfer to hotel.  City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo, Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha Park.
Day 02: Fly to Luang Prabang (The World Heritage City).  City tour including Wat Visunnarad, Wat Mai, Wat Sen, Wat Xieng Thong and sun set at Wat Prabat-Tai.
Day 03: Boat cruise along the Mekong River to visit Pak Ou (Tham Ting) cave.  Along the way visit Banh Sang Hai where they make traditional sticky rice liquor.  After a picnic lunch, return by boat to Luang Prabang.  Visit Santi Chedi stupa and Banh Phanom village, a hand-weaving and textile village
Day 04: Visit the national museum (the former King's palace) and Banh Sang Khong village, where you can see traditional hand-made paper crafts.  Fly back to Vientiane.  Free time at leisure.
Day 05: Shopping center market (Talad Sao) or visit revolutionary museum.  Then transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.

 

Vientiane / Luang Prabang (6 Days / 5 Nights)
Day 01: Arrival in Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge.  Transfer to hotel.  City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo, Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha Park.

Day 05: Visit the national museum (the former King's palace) and Banh Sang Khong village, where you can see traditional hand-made paper crafts.  Fly back to Vientiane.  Free time at leisure.
Day 06: Shopping center market (Talad Sao) or visit revolutionary museum.  Then transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.

 

Vientiane / Luang Prabang (5 Days/4 Nights)
Day 01: Arrival in Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge.  Transfer to hotel.  City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo, Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha Park.
Day 02: Fly to Luang Prabang (The World Heritage City).  City tour including Wat Visunnarad, Wat Mai, Wat Sen, Wat Xieng Thong and sun set at Wat Prabat-Tai.
Day 03: Whole day excursion by Jeep or 4WD car to visit the hill tribe villages on top of the mountain.  Experience the beautiful nature and local people.  Dinner with the hilltribe people and overnight at the village house.
Day 04: Leave the village in the morning and return to Luang Prabang.  Visit Banh Sang Khong village, where you can see traditional hand-made paper crafts.  Fly back to Vientiane.  Free time at leisure.
Day 05: Shopping center market (Talad Sao) or visit revolutionary museum.  Then transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.

 

Vientiane / Xiengkhuang (5 Days / 4 Nights)
Day 01: Arrival in Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge.  Transfer to hotel.  City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo, Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha Park.
Day 02: Fly to Xiengkhuang province (Ponsavanh airport) and transfer to your hotel.  Visit the main plain of jars (2500-3000 years old) and the plain of jars at Salato mountain.
Day 03: Travel by car on road No. 07 to Meuang Kham district, the main rice area in Xiengkhuang province.  Visit Tham Piu cave (a historic cave from the Indochina war).  After a picnic lunch, visit the hot spring at Banh Na Sok village, the hilltibe villages such as Hmong, Yao, etc.  Return to Ponsavanh city in the late evening.
Day 04: Morning, visit the vegetable market and Ponsavanh temple.  Fly back to Vientiane.  Free time at leisure.
Day 05: Shopping center market (Talad Sao) or visit revolutionary museum.  Then transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.

 

Vientiane / Savannakhet (4 Days / 3 Nights)
Day 01: Arrival in Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge.  Transfer to hotel.  City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo, Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha Park.
Day 02: Fly to Savannakhet province and transfer to your hotel.  City sightseeing including Wat Xayaphoum, Wat Lattanalangsy, the Dinosaur museum and That-Ing-Hang stupa.
Day 03: Visit the center market.  Fly back to Vientiane.  Free time at leisure.
Day 04: Shopping center market (Talad Sao) or visit revolutionary museum.  Then transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.

 

Vientiane / Pakse (5 Days / 4 Nights)
Day 01: Arrival in Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge.  Transfer to hotel.  City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo, Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha Park.
Day 02: Fly to Pakse and take a boat cruise down the Mekong River to Champasack.  Visit the Pre-Angkorian ancient Khmer temple "Wat Phou".  Overnight at Champasack hotel, or return to overnight at Pakse.
Day 03: Travel by car to Nakasang village, and by long-tail boat to explore Khone island, see an old locomotive railway and French bridge.  Continue by car to visit the biggest Mekong waterfalls "Khone Pha Pheng".  Return to Pakse late evening.
Day 04: Visit the center market.  Fly back to Vientiane.  Free time at leisure.
Day 05: Shopping center market (Talad Sao) or visit revolutionary museum.  Then transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.

 

Vientiane/Saravan/Pakse/Wat Phou (5 Days / 4 Nights)
Day 01: Arrival in Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge.  Transfer to hotel.  City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo, Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha Park.
Day 02: Fly to Pakse.  Proceed by car to Saravan province, along the way visit hilltribe villages such as the Katou, Kaleum, Alak etc.  Visit Xeset waterfalls, take an elephant tour through the villages and forest.  Overnight at Tad Lo resort nearby the waterfalls.
Day 03: Travel by car back to Pakse and take a boat cruise down the Mekong River to Champasack.  Visit the Pre-Angkorian ancient Khmer temple "Wat Phou".  Return to overnight at Pakse.
Day 04: Visit the center market.  Fly back to Vientiane.  Free time at leisure.

Day 02: Fly to Xiengkhuang province (Ponsavanh airport) and transfer to your hotel.  Visit the main plain of jars (2500-3000 years old) and the plain of jars at Salato mountain or hilltribe village.
Day 03: Shopping at the vegetable market, then fly to Luang Prabang (The World Heritage City).  City tour including Wat Visunnarad, Wat Mai, Wat Sen, Wat Xieng Thong, Phousi hill and sun set at Wat Prabat-Tai.
Day 04: By car visit the famous and most beautiful waterfalls in Luang Prabang "Kuangsi waterfalls".  After a picnic lunch return to Luang Prabang town and visit the silver hand carving factory.  Free time at leisure.
Day 05: Visit the national museum (the former King's palace), and take a cruise by high speed boat on the Mekong River up to Houay Xai (370km: 6-7 hours).  Along the way stop for a visit to Pak Ou cave and have a picnic lunch at Pak Beng district.
Day 06: City tour of Houay Xai including Wat Chomkhao, Lan Tan tribe village and a village where they pan for sapphires.   Transfer to the border and departure for Chiangkhong, Thailand.

 

Vientiane / Xiengkhuang / Sam Neua (7 Days / 6 Nights)
Day 01: Arrival in Vientiane by air or Friendship Bridge.  Transfer to hotel.  City tour including Sisakhet museum, Ho Pakeo, Thatluang Stupa, Patuxay (victory gate) and the Buddha Park.
Day 02: Fly to Xiengkhuang province (Ponsavanh airport) and transfer to your hotel.  Visit the main plain of jars (2500-3000 years old) and the plain of jars at Salato mountain.
Day 03: Travel by car on road No. 07 to Meuang Kham district, the main rice area in Xiengkhuang province.  Visit the hot spring at Banh Na Sok village.  After a picnic lunch, visit Tham Piu cave (a historic cave from the Indochina war). Then continue by car to Sam Neua (Hua Phanh province).
Day 04: Visit Wat Ong Tue.  Travel by car to Vieng Xay district to visit the historic caves of the Lao leaders during the Indochina war.  Return to Sam Neua by car.
Day 05: Fly back to Xiengkhuang province (there is no direct flight to Vientiane).  Free time at leisure, and overnight in Xiengkhuang.
Day 06: Shopping at the vegetable market.   Fly back to Vientiane.  Free time at leisure.
Day 07: Shopping center market (Talad Sao) or visit revolutionary museum.  Then transfer to airport or Friendship Bridge for departure.
