Nine Dragons Travel & Tours has been a leader in Asian Travel since 1992, specializing in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, China, Tibet, Mongolia, Nepal, Korea and India.  We are among the most knowledgeable companies in America on travel to Vietnam having pioneered Vietnam tourism following the Vietnam War.  We are thoroughly familiar with military locations of special interest to veterans.  We began by offering educational travel to professors and teachers and their students.  We quickly expanded to provide everything from economy to luxury tours for travelers looking for new destinations and adventures.  Throughout our eleven years of serving travelers, we have offered both package itineraries and specially designed custom itineraries for our clients.  We now will be offering only custom itineraries designed to the special interests and requirements of discriminating travelers, from individuals to small and large groups. 

We have decided to leave the package tours to other companies that offer set itineraries to the masses of travelers who are herded to the heavily visited tourist destinations.

We will give our clients exactly what they want, when they want it, and provide top-notch guides, meals to their liking at select restaurants, hotels to match their specifications, and the services they require.  We promise to fulfill their needs and desires taking the position that no request is impossible.

Military Veterans who have special places to visit, regardless of how remote.  We will design group tours for veterans specific military units and reunion trips as well as those who wish to visit where they served their country.

Professors and teachers who want to provide a unique experience for their students focusing on their course objectives and their students’ fields of study.

Tourists who want to design their own tour at their own pace and specify what services they want and which they do not want. 

People with special interests whether it be art, music, history, out of the way places, economics, ethnic cooking, cultures, trekking, snorkeling, motorcycle tours, archaeology, political science, or anything else.

We have given a postal worker a behind the scenes visit of Saigon’s post office and a firefighter a tour of Saigon’s fire stations.  We have cut through the red tape of setting up the first choral group to perform in Vietnam and wound up with the Vietnamese government promoting the group’s tour throughout Vietnam.  We have arranged academic meetings for U.S. professors and colleagues in Thailand.  We have taken Gold Star Mothers to the locations where their sons had died in Vietnam.  We have escorted a group of Nine Dragons regulars from ages 10 to 75 from China to Nepal over the Tibetan plateau and to the base of Mt. Everest.  We have provided for reporters who have written about their trips and made documentaries for print and broadcast media.  We have united fathers with their war-born children and have taken adoptive parents and their children to the orphanages they were in as infants.  We have arranged special tours for current military personnel.  Let us know what you need, and we can do it for you.

In the past, we have had aspirations of growing into a very major travel operator.  We have since decided we never want to be one of the larger travel companies.  We want to know our clients and care for every one of them personally.  You will never get lost in a bureaucracy or passed from person to person or talk to someone who does not know the particulars of your trip.  You will never have to deal with an order-taker who is not knowledgeable about your destinations, the hotels you will stay in, or the small details that will make your trip easier.
