Special Refund Policy

          In these uncertain times for travel, Nine Dragons Travel and Tours wants to insure those who have chosen us for their travel plans, that they need not be concerned about loss of payments in the event of a need to travel due to war, epidemic, airline bankruptcy, or other situations beyond the control of the traveler.  For this reason, we have implemented a refund policy effective immediately (starting March 15, 2003) which will make refunds available to our clients beyond our usual very liberal refund policy.

          Cancellation of your tour due to war or the threat of war, medical emergency or epidemic, or travel advisory or warning from any official source (US State Department, Center for Disease Control, World Health Organization, American Society of Travel Agents, Pacific Asia Travel Association, etc.) or due to the cancellation of flights related to airline bankruptcy or insolvency will qualify our clients for refunds up to 48 hours before the scheduled commencement of travel, in accordance with the following conditions:

          You must notify us by telephone, fax, or e-mail of your intent to cancel within 48 hours of your departure time.

          We will provide a refund of any payments we have on hand and all charges for which we are able to recover funds.

          We encourage you to purchase a good comprehensive travel   insurance policy which often will cover all expenses including those which we do not reimburse you to you because we are not able to recover the funds.
